When Other Eye Doctors Have Failed You — We Can Help

At Global Complex Eye Care — known nationally as lasikfailures.com — we specialize in treating
patients whose vision was damaged or never fully corrected after LASIK, PRK, or Radial
Keratotomy (RK) surgery. We also treat patients with keratoconus, irregular corneas, and
severe dry eye. Patients travel to us from across the United States because we accept the
cases other eye doctors turn away.

Common Symptoms After Failed Laser Eye Surgery

Many patients who come to us describe the same frustrating experience: they had LASIK, PRK,
or RK surgery expecting perfect vision — and instead are left with symptoms that glasses and
standard contact lenses cannot fix. If you are experiencing any of the following, we may be
able to help:

  • Halos and glare — bright rings or starbursts around lights, especially at night
  • Ghosting and double vision — overlapping or shadow images that won’t go away
  • Dry eye — chronic dryness, burning, and discomfort that worsened after surgery
  • Blurred or fluctuating vision — vision that was never fully corrected or has regressed
  • High Order Aberrations (HOAs) — optical distortions caused by irregular corneal
shape after surgery that glasses and standard lenses cannot correct
  • Light sensitivity — difficulty tolerating bright light indoors or outdoors
  • Poor night vision — significant difficulty driving after dark

These symptoms are often caused by corneal irregularities created or worsened by laser eye
surgery. Standard glasses and contact lenses cannot correct HOAs — but advanced specialty
lenses can. Our team designs custom scleral lenses, wavefront-guided lenses, PROSE lenses,
and EyePrintPRO impression-based lenses specifically to address the optical distortions
that result from irregular corneas.

We Treat Post-Surgical Complications From:

  • LASIK surgery — including overcorrection, undercorrection, corneal ectasia,
    and flap complications
  • PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) — including haze, regression, and
    persistent HOAs
  • Radial Keratotomy (RK) — including fluctuating vision, progressive
hyperopia, and corneal instability that worsens with age

Many of our patients have already seen multiple eye care specialists before finding us.
That is not a problem — it is exactly the kind of challenge we are built for.
